Jacobus Henricus van ‘t Hoff and Physical Chemistry
On August 30, 1852, Dutch physical chemist Jacobus Henricus Van ‘t Hoff was born. Van ‘t Hoff was the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
